St Monica’s Confirmation group looks set to bloom!

 

 

On a very warm afternoon on Saturday 14 June, St Monica’s Confirmation group from Hoxton, London, planted window boxes and pulled out weeds at neighbouring St Monica's Primary School.  

 

The teenagers helped out as part of their ‘Service Project’ in preparation for their Confirmation which took place on 22 June.  Most of the teenagers attended the primary school when they were younger so it was a good way for them to contribute to their local community.  

 

Headteacher, Violet Richardson, who was also there on the day helping out and handing out drinks, was delighted with the youngsters’ hard work, which transformed the front of the school facing Hoxton Square; she hopes that next year’s Confirmation group might come back and do the same!
