Golden Celebration For GABRIEL McDONAGH OSA

Through an unforgivable oversight on our part, we did not report the Golden Jubilee of the Ordination of Gabriel McDonagh OSA, which took place in December 2009.  We now wish to make amends.

 

Gabriel celebrated Mass in the Holy Faith Convent, the Coombe, Dublin, along with friars of  both Provinces and his family—his sister is a member of the Holy Faith community.

Gabriel taught at Austin Friars School, Carlisle, was Prior of St Patrick’s, Rome, taught at Bishop’s Court School, and is now chaplain at Cuan Mhuire in Athenry, Ireland, one of several centres for rehabilitation, established by Sister Consilio.

We thank Gabriel for the past, wish him God’s blessing for the future.
